ABCALERT ARDDHU A WORKING NEAPOLITAN MASTIFF
THIS IS THE STORY OF ARDDHU, AND HOW TO REAR A DOG WHO CAN GROW UP TO BE THE BEST POSSIBLE COMPANION AND GUARD DOG YOU COULD POSSIBLY EVER WANT, AND A GREAT AMASSADOR FOR THE NEAPOLITAN MASTIFF BREED IN GENERAL.

From little things big things sure can grow, this is Arddhu not long after arrivel at his new home not even as big as the cat!

Still a puppy here

Arddhu was taken out, as often as possible, he rode by day in the truck his owner drives until he got too big to comfortably fit in it any longer, he went to puppy school and met all the dogs in the neihbourhood when on walks, he went to the shopping mall, he went to the beach, he went to the park, he even went into the bank, he was patted by many until he became sure that most people in this world are here just to admire and pat him, never, ever, would this dog threaten any sort of harm to an innocent person, if you have been invited into his home, he completely accepting of you.
(If you have not been invited in, best to wait until you are)

Ardy learnt to ride in a pram

and to be inside and feel quite at home there

and to get some sand beteen his toes

And to be inside, shown above at six months and below still beliaving in Santa at a much later time

By the time the Woodfood 2007 Pro Sports seminar and competition was held, Ardy had done just enough to know not all people may mean well and that it pays to know what to do in pretty short order when he or mum were under threat!

At Woodford he met USA trainer, and a driving force world wide in Pro Sports, Butch Cappel.

Ardy goes at Butch Cappel a founder of Pro Sports in the USA while Butch wad over here for a Pro Sports seminar.

Ardy loves kids

be they human kids or animal bebies he is gentle with them.

At any percieved threat the gentle dog is gone.

Ardy, his owner, and Butch with his Pro Sports medal, up to the date this was taken ABCALERT Neapolitan Mastiffs were the only Neos in the world to compete in Pro Sports, not sure if this is still the case or not.

Ardy with his ears held back, this is a head you might have seen on the Neos of the 50's, not over wrinkled nor is he too big, at around 70 kg,, he is taller than many, solid but not fat, fit and well balanced, he can be taken anywhere with perfect safety, neither dog nor man aggressive unless a fight is bought to him, a friendly dog. A top Neo.
